Joshua Kohn is the Broker Owner of Kohn Commercial Real Estate and a seasoned asset, portfolio, and project management professional with more than 15 years of experience guiding the performance of industrial, retail, and urban‑infill properties across South Florida. Born and raised in Miami, Joshua brings a deep understanding of the region’s development patterns, zoning landscape, and investment dynamics — insight that allows him to help owners and investors unlock long‑term value across their portfolios.

Joshua joined Kohn Commercial Real Estate in 2007 and quickly expanded the firm’s operational capabilities, building systems for property oversight, construction coordination, and tenant management that strengthened the company’s foundation. His expertise spans asset and portfolio strategy, project management, capital improvements, municipal coordination, leasing, and operational efficiency. He is known for his hands‑on approach, problem‑solving mindset, and ability to reposition under‑utilized assets to maximize performance.

Over his career, Joshua has led initiatives that increased rental income, stabilized complex portfolios, activated large‑scale redevelopment sites, and guided owners through design, permitting, and construction processes. His work includes transforming industrial properties, elevating tenant mixes, and driving measurable improvements in NOI and asset value.

Beyond his professional work, Joshua is deeply committed to community leadership. Since 2017, he has served as a coach with Special Olympics Florida, leading athletes in standup paddle and basketball and coordinating practices, events, and competitions throughout Miami‑Dade County.

Joshua has held leadership roles in several of the region’s leading commercial real estate organizations, including service on the Miami Commercial Board of the Miami Association of Realtors, the Commercial Industrial Association of South Florida (CIASF), and the Chamber NXT Board of Directors at Chamber South.
